Only high-strength Hemfir is installed, not bargain-priced spruce studs

All hardware installed is galvanized, either hot-dipped or plated

No Oriented Strand Board, instead we use plywood which is stronger and more resistant to moisture

All shear wall panels are nailed slowly using a palm nailer, not blasted in with a nail gun which can destroy the top layer of the plywood and compromise strength 

All epoxy used to install anchor bolts in the foundation is pre-heated to better flow and bond    with the concrete
